Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, results oriented Manager, Supply Planning to join our exciting, fast paced team in Dania Beach, FL. As a Manager of Supply Planning, you will lead a team of 2-5 individuals in our Dania Beach office while being responsible for the following supply chain initiatives: purchasing strategy, in stock strategy, new vendor on-boarding, existing vendor lead time reduction and fill rate and on time improvement. You will be involved in many aspects of building the business and helping Chewy serve the diverse and growing needs of our Pet Parents. What You'll Do:
- Manage all aspects of ecommerce supply planning for our private label business
- Manage direct reports as well as aspects of hiring and recruiting
- Manage a team of 2-5 Supply Planners with supply base of hundreds of vendors
- Manage inventory plan of thousands of items across 8 fulfillment centers
- Work with Merchandising, Finance, Vendor Compliance, EDI, Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to identify areas of opportunity to improve total supply chain metrics
What You'll Need:
- BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Business Management
- 5-7 years of supply chain experience
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional stake holders, influence decisions, and recommend a course of action based on data analytics
- Ability to drive process improvement by implementing checks and balances and identifying process steps that can be automated
- Detail oriented and possess superior organizational, self-motivation and problem-solving skills
- Previous demand planning, supply planning or inventory management experience
- Strong knowledge in purchasing, forecasting and inventory management systems
- Solid understanding of data analysis including advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL or Tableau a plus
- A proven leader with a track record of delivering results
- Position may require travel
