Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Merchandising Analytics Manager to join our Merchandising Analytics Team based in Dania Beach, FL. In this role, you’ll directly support our Vendor Products and Services strategies for external suppliers along with Core Reporting for internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has experience building scalable reports and tools using large data sets across multiple subject areas. This individual has a strong analytics background and possesses both exemplary data visualization and presentation skills. 

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with internal analytics and BI teams to develop and QA new data tables, dashboards, and products for internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and own standardized intake processes for building new reports, new features, and enhanced functionality of existing tools
  • Perform complex analyses by leveraging large data sets from multiple systems to surface actionable insights that support Merchandising in making data-driven decisions around product assortment, site placement, promotions, and operational performance
  • Lead and support recurring requirements gathering and product release checkpoints with internal and external business partners
  • Program manage cross-functional initiatives to deliver high quality data products, visualizations, and tools that facilitate action
  • Support Merchandising leadership by building reports and performing ad hoc analyses to drive favorable outputs across customer experience and financial metrics    

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain or a related degree with quantitative and analytical emphasis. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to translate data into business insights
  • Minimum of 4 years related work experience 
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Advanced Excel
  • Advanced data visualization skills using software such as Tableau, Power BI, etc
  • High degree of proficiency with executing complex data analyses
  • Ability to independently manage cross-functional projects, delivering results on tight timelines
  • Thorough understanding of Financial KPIs and P&L statement
  • Understanding of data warehousing and relational database structure
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and commitment to quality
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Bonus:

  • Ecommerce or Retail experience
  • Masters or equivalent advanced academic degree
  • Product Management or Project Management Certifications
  • Advanced technical skills using Python, R, or other programming languages
