This position will lead multiple Storefront teams responsible for supporting our Chewy Storefront experience. In this high impact role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering large projects which span multiple organizations, while communicating status and unblocking collaborators. This entails collaborating on product definition, owning roadmap planning across orgs, identifying interdependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems, providing critical issue management and making tradeoffs, becoming a domain expert on the underlying technologies which power Chewy’s services, building highly efficient mechanisms and process improvements, and driving alignment at the senior leadership level.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and complete strategic programs, including technology implementations, process improvements, and operational scaling initiatives.
  • Scope, plan, and manage multiple programs across teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • Develop project plans, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies for key initiatives.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks, ensuring visibility through effective status reporting and critical issue mechanisms.
  • Optimize technical processes, identifying efficiencies and defining standard methodologies for project management and execution.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making by implementing critical metrics, reporting mechanisms, and performance tracking for ongoing initiatives.
  • Lead cross-team coordination to ensure the timely delivery of infrastructure, software, and operational projects.
  • Evaluate and implement standard processes for technology and business program management.
  • Coordinate with business collaborators to ensure the team is meeting the evolving needs of the business.
  • Work with engineering teams to resolve bottlenecks and deliver system solutions.
  • Review and report on progress for initiatives/projects, managing risks and developing contingency plans.
  • Analyze customer needs across teams, identifying commonalities, and collaborating with engineers to build tools that address these needs.

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management or IT program leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field
  • Experience managing large-scale programs within technology, operations, logistics, or infrastructure
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, network deployment, and technology lifecycle management
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills to drive alignment across engineering, product, and business teams
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure program success
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives and partner relationships
  • Experience leading risk assessment and mitigation strategies for complex technology deployments

Bonus:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related technical field
  • Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile certification
  • Previous experience with e-commerce program management Comfort working with large and complex data sets and presenting findings to senior leadership in a concise and actionable manner
  • Experience communicating (written and verbal) with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

Pay Range
$108,000$212,500 USD
