In-Office Card Writers are responsible for creating and reviewing all Welcome and Holiday cards. They are also responsible for all preparation processes related to card shipping and receiving to and from customers and contractors, invoice preparation and submission for payment, and interacting and engaging with contractors as well as in-house employees to create an enriching, and fun work environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prep Welcome card boxes to be sent to contractors
  • Edit and format customer lists into excel spreadsheets for printing and distribution
  • Accounting for all materials sent to and received from contractors including cards, customer lists, and markers
  • Tracking, analyzing, and predicting inventory needs and submitting orders to vendors
  • Stocking, pulling, and recording inventory as needed
  • Entering and evaluating numerical data into Excel spreadsheets
  • Preparing electronic invoices to be sent to contractors, in house employees, and accounting
  • Scheduling pick up appointments for Contracted Card Writers
  • Composing emails and assisting contractors in seeking and verifying customer information, process of payment, and any other various inquiries
  • Recovering Chewy property from contracted Card Writers.
  • Recording and correcting returned customer cards with incorrect/missing information and/or damages
  • Composing email templates, guides, and PowerPoint training's to be used on a regular basis
  • Composing and consistently updating PowerPoint department announcements to be displayed on monitors
  • Formatting and creating signatures and fonts to be used during the Pioneer writing process
  • Uploading information to external hardware such as SD cards or external drives
  • Leading groups of Card Writers to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals and entering and tracking stats into Excel spreadsheets.
  • Preparing performance and stat reports to be sent to management and accounting
  • Operating standard office equipment such as printers, desktop computers, scanners, and laminators
  • Reading and transcribing customer information to Welcome and Holiday cards
  • Reviewing, editing, stuffing, sealing, and stamping Welcome/Holiday cards and envelopes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
  • Counting and placing large mailing trays into sleeves prior to shipment to customers
  • Operating Pioneer machinery
  • Breaking down boxes and other materials
  • Ensuring customer information is accounted for and disposed of properly

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be able to perform and comprehend basic arithmetic
  • Experience in Microsoft Office with strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Some Photoshop experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with others in a Chewy way
  • Able to sit or stand, stoop, reach, and use hands for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, reach, and use hands repetitively for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift weights of up to 10-30lbs and reach periodically throughout the day
  • Able to push and pull weights of up to 150lbs
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. postal abbreviations and mailing processes
  • Must be able to operate all standard office equipment and card writing machinery
  • Must be comfortable working in confined spaces
  • May be exposed to dust Ability to work in an environment with exposure to dust
