About the Role
As Revenue Accounting Manager, you will oversee revenue recognition for our global business, ensuring compliance with ASC 606. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess contracts, implement revenue policies, and enhance automation in revenue reporting. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, process optimization skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of two accountants.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee revenue accounting for three lines of business: space rentals, advisory services, and event operations, ensuring compliance with ASC 606
• Manage customer invoicing while ensuring alignment with customer needs and localized requirements
• Partner with sales, finance, and legal teams to review contracts and ensure proper accounting treatment
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting, including reconciliations and financial close processes
• Implement best practices and automation tools to improve revenue recognition workflows
• Facilitate external audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries regarding revenue.
• Lead and mentor a team of two accountants, providing guidance on revenue policies and professional development
What We’re Looking For
• 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years focused on revenue accounting
• Strong understanding of ASC 606, Accounts Receivable, and contract management
• Experience in a subscription-based, real estate, or professional services environment with a multinational company preferred
• Proficiency in NetSuite or other major ERPs
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Fluency in English required; Polish language skills are a plus
