WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a key member of our People Team, you'll own and drive the recruitment process for CIC’s Asia-based roles, serving as a trusted partner to hiring managers and a guide for candidates navigating their career journey. From candidate experience to strategic hiring initiatives, your work will directly shape the future of our teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes for CIC roles in Asia - from planning interviews to maintaining candidate communications via email and in-person interactions.
- Serving as a point of contact for candidates, ensuring a warm, responsive, and professional experience at every step.

You may also take on:
- Collaborating with both local and global HR teams to align recruitment efforts with business needs.
- Partnering with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs.
- Leading complex hiring processes, resolving challenges, and ensuring smooth execution.
- Managing relationships with external recruiting agencies, ensuring prompt communications and strong partnerships.
- Overseeing job board performance and collaborating with job board reps to optimize visibility and impact.
- Owning interview scheduling logistics — balancing priorities, availability, and shifting timelines with ease.
- Supporting decision-making by guiding interview teams to assess competencies and cultural contribution objectively.
- Coaching and mentoring hiring managers on inclusive, thoughtful hiring practices and innovative approaches to identifying diverse talent.
- Conducting candidate interviews (remote and onsite) and actively contributing to hiring decisions.
- Crafting compelling job descriptions and tailored interview questions aligned to role requirements.
- Championing a candidate-centric approach — ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from first contact to offer.
- Participating in strategic global HR initiatives, including DEIB, data reporting, sourcing strategies, and more.

WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment, HR, or agency environments.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese (written and spoken).
- Proven organizational and project management skills, with experience juggling multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools (ATS, job boards), Google Workspace, and ideally global or international hiring.
- Legal authorization to work in Japan (we are unable to sponsor visas for this role).
