The Impact of a Solution Architect at Coupa:

This role at Coupa has a significant impact by driving customer success through best-in-class Procure-to-Invoice (P2I) product deployments, ensuring efficient and seamless adoption of procurement and invoicing processes. By working with some of the world's largest companies, it helps optimize procurement workflows, improving compliance, cost savings, and operational efficiency. Through solution architecture leadership, the role accelerates implementation success, delivering projects on time while maximizing value for customers. It also enhances cross-functional collaboration by identifying Suite Synergy opportunities, ensuring seamless integration across Coupa’s platform. Acting as a mentor to solution architects and partners, this role strengthens Coupa’s ecosystem by improving expertise and execution quality. Additionally, it contributes to thought leadership by developing best practices, templates, and training materials that drive continuous improvement. Building strong relationships with customers and partners fosters trust and long-term collaboration, leading to expanded business opportunities and renewals. With up to 30% travel, this role represents Coupa in the field, reinforcing the company’s commitment to hands-on support and partnership. What You'll Do:

As a specialist in Procure-to-Invoice (P2I) product deployments, your main responsibilities will be in enabling customers in designing, mapping business processes to best practice solutions, configuring and adopting best-in-class purchasing and invoicing processes

You will work with some of the largest companies in the world to guide them in defining the processes they use to manage their Procurement activities

Help customers focus on their goals and drive the implementation solution architecture towards a successful, on-time implementation, taking into consideration Suite Synergy opportunities

Oversee all functional design aspects of implementation by taking the lead in managing and mentoring workstream solution architects from both Coupa and partner teams, ensuring a successful delivery of the project scope

Forge strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues

Provide subject matter expertise and industry best practices to colleagues, partners and customers

Create and/or improve implementation templates, best practices, training and presentations and be a champion for their adoption

Manage customers where up to 25% of your time may include travel

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

6+ years of consulting experience in Procure-to-Invoice, either as part of a procurement organization or a consulting firm or software provider

Fluent in Spanish, English (required) and Portuguese (preferred but not required)

Extremely strong client management skills and be able to guide customers through best practice driven design processes that lead towards a rapid, successful go-live

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience prototyping, demonstrating, designing, configuring, and delivering procurement systems is required

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

Self-starter and quick learner, must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changes in a fast paced and passionate environment

Highly organized with the ability/experience to manage multiple simultaneous Enterprise projects

May require some flexibility in working hours due to the global nature of the role
