The Impact of a Technical Account Manager, Suppliers at Coupa:

The Technical Account Manager, Suppliersowns the operational processes for integrating assigned suppliers with Coupa customers. This includes initiation/scoping of the integration through configuration, solutioning, testing, go live activities and ongoing support. In addition to the technical scope of the role, the Technical Account Manager, Suppliers is responsible for Supplier account management and the associated duties. This includes being the first point of contact, pipeline management, business review management, issue/escalation management, facilitating long-term growth, and ownership of the Supplier account.

What You'll Do:

  • Technical Scope:
  • Managing a large quantity of projects at the same time, and balancing prioritization of efforts appropriately
  • Understanding scope of each individual integration project
  • Coordinating effective communication for each project between all stakeholders
  • Tracking and updating project management tools for each integration project
  • Configuration of new integrations in Coupa, performing testing activities, troubleshooting integration errors
  • Providing timely resolution to integration support requests
  • Continuous improvement of the integration operational activities, KPI tracking, and supplier integrations
  • Level 1 support of existing supplier integrations
  • Supplier Account Management Scope:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for suppliers and be the liaison between sales, integrations, customers, and any additional stakeholders
  • Proactively monitor supplier sales data and pipeline to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate integration activities between suppliers, customers, integrations team, and systems integrators
  • Keep each supplier’s operational activities on time per customer expectations and contractual requirements
  • Function as a subject matter expert for the assigned suppliers, be the first line of communication for technical challenges and be able to triage/assign necessary actions accordingly
  • Coordinate and deliver business reviews for strategic suppliers
  • Develop strong professional relationships with each supplier partner
  • Manage, coach and support suppliers in the Coupa Advantage program
  • Onboard new suppliers to the Coupa Advantage program efficiently
  • Maintain prompt written and verbal communication with suppliers
  • Keep regular rapport with the Coupa Advantage adoption team, and key stakeholders at each supplier partner
  • Track and liaise with the appropriate support teams for supplier support requests
  • What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • 3+ years professional experience, preferably in the Business Spend Management space
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship/team building and account management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask on several projects at the same time
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to absorb new information quickly in a constantly evolving environment
  • Leadership qualities that reflect a self-motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of cXML integrations and willingness to continue progress towards mastery
