Job Summary:
Crooked Media is hiring for a Travel & Event Coordinator in the Programming department reporting to the Tour and Events Manager. This role will focus on the seamless execution of logistics for our upcoming events, directly impacting talent satisfaction, brand perception, and operational success. We're looking for a candidate that is detail-oriented, organized, and highly proactive.
This is a hybrid temporary position, lasting approximately 15 weeks. We anticipate most weeks will be remote between 30-40 hours of work, with the potential for overtime as the event approaches. We have a high preference for Washington D.C Metro Area candidates, or candidates based in NY and willing to travel to Washington D.C.
How You’ll Spend Your Time:
Travel Coordination:
- Book and manage travel (flights, trains, ground transportation) and accommodations for all guests, speakers, and staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date travel itineraries.
- Handle last-minute changes or emergencies with agility and professionalism.
- Communicate travel plans clearly to all talent and staff,
Event Logistics:
- Manage the event inquiries inbox and respond to questions from attendees and the general public regarding the upcoming event
- Track production timelines, deadlines, and deliverables
- Maintain up-to-date schedules and documentation across teams
- Coordinate with Crooked Legal and Insurance on all vendor contracts
- On site support during the week of the event in Washington D.C.
Administrative:
- Track and submit all event-related expenses accurately using Expensify, ensuring timely reconciliation and approval.
- Maintain organized digital records of receipts, invoices, and reimbursements for audit and reporting purposes.
What You’ll Bring To The Table:
- 2+ years of experience in travel coordination, event planning, or logistics management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with travel and event planning tools a plus.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience coordinating VIP or executive-level travel.

Once we’re ready to extend an offer, we look at the individual’s years of relevant experience and other compensable factors to determine a competitive offer. And for this role, the starting salary range is $30-$35/hour.
