What You’ll Do

  • Design, test and build our Datto SaaS Protection platform.
  • Work with product management to develop new products and features that improve the MSP experience and ensure reliable and secure data protection for our customers. 
  • Work with software and hardware teams to improve Datto SaaS Protection system performance, scalability, durability, and security. 
  • Develop advanced telemetry to diagnose and debug problems in the field and improve the quality of our software.
  • Passionately promote Datto’s core values. Promote collaboration and team growth. 
  • Be a positive role model that others want to follow and be inspired by.
  • Identify gaps in processes and tasks. Be an advocate of new ideas to drive continuous improvement. 

Skills You’ll Need

  • Experienced developer with object-oriented design and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience delivering reliable and maintainable software
  • Experience developing web applications
  • Experience with SaaS, SOAP API, RESTful API, and HTTP technologies 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience explaining technical concepts to all audiences
  • Functional programming experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or in lieu of degree 10+ years of relevant experience
