The South Deputy Finance Director assists the South Finance Director in overseeing the major donor fundraising efforts in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. The Deputy Finance Director works closely with their Finance Director in creating and implementing a region-specific finance plan and supporting the execution of principle and surrogate travel and fundraising events. The Deputy Finance Director is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with the top donors in their region.
The South Deputy Finance Director is based in Washington, DC and reports directly to the South Finance Director at the Democratic National Committee.

The starting salary for the South Deputy Finance Director position is $74,880 on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The South Deputy Finance Director position will require travel, which could be up to 1-15% of the time.
This is a full-time, exempt position, that may require work on weekends. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
