We are looking for a seasoned Sr.Field Marketing Manager to join the team! Reporting to the Head of Global Field Marketing, this individual contributor role will drive AMER initiatives and support the Sales and Marketing teams across a diverse range of activities. Based out of the US, the role will encompass driving towards regional lead generation and pipeline goals, growing brand awareness, executing go-to-market campaigns, and other marketing functions across the B2B buying journey for startups and SMBs. A truly multidimensional position that will allow a detail oriented, proactive and outcome driven marketing professional the chance to coordinate and work alongside some of the industry’s best in the ever-changing tech space. The Field Marketing team works closely with regional sales leadership, global cross functional teams to support DigitalOcean's continued growth in the region.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Liaise with Marketing leadership and Regional Sales teams to create and execute a regional marketing plan.
  • Plan and execute events, campaigns and programs that generate revenue pipeline through acquiring leads, creating new sales/expansion opportunities, accelerating existing sales opportunities and deepening our relationships with customers & prospects.
  • Work with local media, PR agencies, and industry bodies to improve our brand presence, as required. 
  • Plan meticulously, putting it down in writing to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Documenting, tracking and reporting within a Salesforce CRM system, which will be critical to your success.
  • Interact extensively across all functional teams within DigitalOcean in the Americas region and globally.
  • Providing feedback on improving the effectiveness of regional marketing and lead generation activities.
  • Bringing a high-energy, positive mindset every day which embodies the DigitalOcean principles.

What We’ll Expect From You:

  • Proven track record of successfully growing revenue pipeline with regional initiatives focused on lead generation.
  • Experience in a field marketing or demand generation role, having partnered directly with a sales team/organization.
  • Proficient in driving various marketing campaigns through industry and customer marketing field events.
  •  In-depth understanding of the Americas markets, how to drive awareness and consideration across all stages of the buying journey and how best to position DigitalOcean in the region.
  • Strong networking and communication skills (written/verbal/presentation) and ability to develop and maintain great stakeholder relationships.
  • Awareness of emerging trends in the local market for cloud services and ability to create and capitalize on opportunities for DO.
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized with an ability to multi-task & prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • Be curious and ask questions.
  • Unafraid to try something new and take calculated risks.
  • Comfortable with Marketo and Salesforce platforms.
  • Ideally, a proven track record in Developer/Start-up businesses.

  • We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $100,000-$120,000 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
