About The Team

We are looking for a Program Manager with a passion for leading projects within our Finance organization. This position, dedicated to the Finance team, will report into the Program Management organization, but work very closely with Finance leadership to support ongoing and future initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Financial background, or has experience working closely with Financial teams!

A day in the life of Our Program Manager, Finance:

• Partner with VP of Finance to organize, plan and track ongoing projects and strategic initiatives for the Finance team
• Establish best practices and repeatable processes to increase efficiency in the Finance team
• Effectively run meetings, track next-steps, and proactively follow-up on action items
• Serves as a key liaison with the rest of the functional groups to facilitate planning and collaboration between teams, align on goals, identify dependencies, and mitigate risk
• Establishes and maintains processes for the Finance team in conjunction with the larger Program Management Office
• Builds and leverages effective partnerships across technical and business communities
• Demonstrates an understanding of the business, its structure, processes, and tools, and how individual Financial areas positively impact the overall business
• Drive progress on royalty system development, testing, and implementation
• Drive continuous improvements of processes and documentation
• Support ad-hoc and special projects

About You:

• 5+ years experience as a project or program manager
• Prior experience in or managing projects related to Finance, Accounting or Royalties
• BS degree or equivalent experience required, MS degree preferred;
• Strong understanding of third party participation or royalty reporting
• Experience with ERP Systems such as NetSuite or SAP, preferred
• Experience working with globally distributed teams
• Working knowledge and understanding of key concepts when it comes to Finance, Accounting or Royalties, especially nuances around tracking constantly evolving requirements
• Must be self-motivating, self-sufficient and have the strong ability to work effectively as an individual or as part of a team
• Accuracy, acute attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Strong analytical, planning, and organization skills are required
• Outstanding time management skills to balance multiple and changing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels, including Senior and C-level partners
• Ability to demonstrate a calm and cool demeanor when managing multiple projects and deliverables
• Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies, and knowing when to apply each, preferred
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Excel, and Google Suite, a plus
• Experience with system implementations and testing, a plus
