About the team

We are a team of enterprise technology professionals who own the Digital content Supply Chain (DSC), workflow automation, cloud operations to power our modern media supply chain  platform. The Software Engineer will report to our Director of Software Engineering, Enterprise Technology.

We are considering applicants for our Hyderabad office. Our Hyderabad office is centrally located within the Knowledge City, Hitech City, Madhapur area making it convenient and easily accessible for our team members from across the city.

About the role

• You will work with engineering teams, product managers, and main partners to understand business critical bottlenecks
• You will instil engineering excellence across organizational domains through education, tooling, and one-on-one guidance
• You will improve the security of our platform through better tooling, monitoring, and alerting
• You will improve internal processes including engineering, product, and communications
• You will work closely with Finance, Content Operations, Marketing, and others from the Senior Management Team to understand critical business problems and provide solutions
• You will write critical code and make the right trade-offs. You will solve problems with solutions that are as simple as possible.

About You

• You have 3+ years in the field as a software engineer
• You have a knowledge of development with Python (3.8+)
• You enjoy working with engineering teams on daily delivery blockers, listening to issues faced within teams, and providing unbiased, business-focused solutions
• You code and build quality and scalable software solving the hardest problems that can be used by others
• You have architecture experience using cloud-native services (GCP Preferred)
• You have experience writing unit tests and synthetic tests with tools like pytest, jest, and
• puppeteer
• You have experience in an "Infrastructure as Code as a default" culture using tools like Terraform
• You have experience with modern architecture patterns like microservices and serverless
• You have experience with API development (REST, gRPC)
• You have experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Firebase, or similar
• You are familiar with CI/CD patterns using tools such as Github Actions or similar
• You have familiarity with operations and support systemslike DataDog and OpsGenie
• You have experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners across in-person and remote teams
