Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

About the Team

In partnership with the Head of Program Management, we will be standardizing Agile methodologies for the organization, evangelizing process improvements, and building process framework!

About You

  • 5+ years of proven experience in program management (leveling of role dependent on candidate experience)
  • Understanding of software development processes
  • Solid knowledge of the Agile SDLC and development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong written and verbal communication including experience working with highly technical teams
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to handle a number of simultaneous projects while demonstrating urgency and ownership to drive an overall program to completion
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to motivate and focus cross-functional teams to reach challenging goals
  • Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Quick learner, innovative, proactive, flexible, and adaptable
  • Bring a positive and constructive approach

Pluses

  • High level technical understanding of the various elements of technical operations is preferred
  • Experience running audits or other security based programs
  • Experience as an individual contributor in engineering, operations, security, or related disciplines
  • Having a sense of humor is a definite plus!

A day in the life of our Sr. Technical Program Manager, DevOps & Security:

  • Evangelize and evolve the company’s processes to enable closer synchronization between PMO, Product, Engineering, QA, and Design
  • Manage large scale operation projects while coordinating with various product and development teams, includes identifying and handling cross-project dependencies.
  • Develop and lead end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery while driving execution
  • Schedule and manage Operational and/or Security requirements from the rest of the company for the team to meet the needs of the company
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across the team
  • Lead planning and execution of high impact programs and teams
  • Anticipate and mitigate team and program risks
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to track dependencies, plan releases, and resolve blocking issues
  • Fulfill scrum master role on multiple teams
