Equitas Academy is searching for a current bachelor's degree-seeking college student for the position of Talent Acquisition Intern.
The mission of Equitas Academy Charter Schools is to provide a structured, achievement-based community that prepares students to graduate from four-year colleges and universities. Equitas Academy has been recognized as a California Distinguished School and Gold Ribbon School by the California Department of Education because of our commitment to data-driven instruction and providing a rigorous and equitable education for all students. We currently serve over 1,500 students and operate four elementary schools and two middle schools in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Talent Acquisition Intern would join the Equitas Talent Team and would be responsible for assisting the Talent team with staff recruitment, retention, and outreach. The Talent Acquisition Intern reports to the Talent Manager.

Work a schedule of 10-15 hours a week throughout the duration of the internship (Feb ‘24-June ‘24)Shadow and observe various elements of the talent acquisition function at EquitasAttend training sessions throughout the duration of the internship, run by the network talent team (Topics include but are not limited to: showcasing the Equitas experience, answering tough questions, the Equitas interview process and experience, conducting phone interviews, and reducing bias in the interview)Conduct and score applications, phone interviews and reference checksSupport overall operations of the Talent Team to ensure smooth and efficient execution of events, interviews, and other activitiesContribute to the overall work of the growing talent team through team projects, planning, and weekly meetingsEngage with social and networking opportunities throughout the duration of the internshipWork on and complete a project from conceptualization to final presentation as a deliverable at the conclusion of the internshipPerform other duties and responsibilities as neededWhat You Will Get:
