Lab Coordinator

SUMMARY

The Lab Coordinator is responsible for being the primary acquisition liaison for lab services within EyeCare Partners by establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with existing business partners and acquired practices.  The Lab Coordinator will train newly acquired practices on lab products, procedures and policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate lab processes and integration status with internal and external business partners.
  • Monitor, maintain and report on the Lab Services Integration Task List.
  • Analyze and report new acquisition lab financials and synergies to leadership.
  • Consult with lab partners regarding upcoming acquisitions and lab account setup.
  • Inform ECP team members of our lab provider partnership status with regular reporting and communications via presentation, reporting and email.
  • Coordinate the assembly and shipment of lab materials for EyeCare Partners office locations.
  • Train acquisition-acquired employees and leaders regarding lab policies, procedures and products.
  • Identify and act upon continuous improvement opportunities within the lab onboarding processes and training.
  • Ability to travel and work non-standard hours as needed.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight.
  • Results-driven and able to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Required: 3- 5 years of optical office or optical lab experience

LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS

Minimum Required: None

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of company systems
