This role is responsible for creating or modifying complex applications program activities.

Job Duties: Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining applications for large, proprietary systems. Resolve customer software issues and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements to company products. Code, test, debug, document and maintain software programs. Participate in the definition of functional and technical requirements for application software. Position allows for occasional remote work.

Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Requires three (3) years of related experience (OR one (1) with Master’s degree) as Java Developer or related, which must include some experience with: Java Programming Language; SQL and relational databases; XML; JUnit / unit testing in java; Eclipse; SVN; and Hibernate.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
