About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Global Finance Team with a focus on a full range of P&L topics - including both revenue, expenses and strategic decision making backed by analysis. This person will be based in Amsterdam and will report to the FP&A Manager. 

This is a highly cross-functional role that bridges Finance, Commercial and Analytics, requiring a passion for using data to drive action and insight. You will work across global and regional teams to build and challenge business cases, strengthen forecasting accuracy and improve margin transparency. 

The ideal candidate is excited by building scalable data workflows, partnering directly with operational teams and translating complexity into clarity for stakeholders in a timely manner.

What you’ll do here:

  • Improve on and build out financial models and investment frameworks for global initiatives, including pricing and customer strategy  
  • Support the commercial organization and functional leaders by building business cases, conducting ROI analysis, and identifying trade-offs across growth levers
  • Identify workflows that connect financial planning with source systems and work with cross-functional teams to improve 
  • Provide real-time, action-oriented commentary to FH and Booking stakeholders, across recurring and ad-hoc reporting
  • Play a key role in full financial statement forecasting, budgeting cycles and strategic planning across regions and functions
  • Partner closely with Analytics to validate data, align metrics and enable visualization of trends that empower non-financial stakeholders
  • Coach teammates across Finance and Strategy & Insights, and actively seek feedback to improve your own effectiveness
  • Contribute to building a modern financial operating model by advocating for cross-functional workflows, transparency and continuous learning and improvement
  • Act as a thought partner who is comfortable sharing your convictions, respectfully challenging assumptions and guiding teams towards better outcomes
  • Communicate with clarity, using data to tell compelling stories and influence decision-makers across commercial and functional teams

Requirements:

  • A growth mindset and collaborative spirit are essential
  • 6+ years of finance business partnering experience supporting regional or commercial business units, primarily in a Commercial Finance or FP&A capacity
  • Experience in highly analytical, cross-functional roles - preferably in a SaaS or digital business environment 
  • Demonstrated experience working with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships) to inform financial planning
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • SAP, Anaplan, OneStream and Tableau experience are advantageous
  • Strong executive presence and sharp attention to detail
  • Known for delivering on time and following through on commitments 
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, iterating quickly and owning your work end-to-end
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to translate finance into business language
