What’s the Role?

We’re seeking a bold, strategic finance leader who thrives in complexity and excels at business partnering. In this high-impact role, you’ll serve as a Finance Business Partner to the Construction Software Business Unit, guiding financial strategy and performance for Fieldwire, 4PS, CrewCenter and ON!Track. We’re looking for passion about the software industry with the creativity and courage to challenge the status quo and drive innovation from within. You’ll be working closely with senior executives to shape decisions, drive integration, and ensure long-term value creation. If you're looking for a growth platform within Hilti that could catapult you to future leadership roles, this is it.

Who is Hilti?

We develop and provide leading-edge tools, technologies, software, and services for the global construction industry. With more than 30,000 team members in 120+ countries and a culture rooted in performance, innovation, and care, Hilti offers unmatched career opportunities across borders and disciplines.

What Does the Role Involve?

As a Finance Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner directly with BU and functional leaders to shape and execute our global software growth strategy.
  • Lead the financial performance management cycle, including rolling forecasts and financial steering across all construction software business units.
  • Analyze and advise on business cases, investments, and commercial strategies-turning data into action.
  • Own and improve the financial planning processes for integration initiatives involving Fieldwire, 4PS, and potential future acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify operational bottlenecks, propose financial guardrails, and recommend course corrections.
  • Contribute to long-term planning initiatives, including shaping the financial vision for 2030 and beyond.
  • Ensure compliance and risk alignment while embedding agile, future-proof finance systems and structures.
  • Establish yourself as the “voice of reason” between growth ambition and financial responsibility-supporting decision-makers with unbiased, fact-based insight.
  • Lead with influence-not authority-by asking challenging questions, probing assumptions, and helping senior stakeholders align on impactful choices.
  • Balance your time between strategic conversations and hands-on finance operations. This is not a traditional accounting role-it’s business partnering at its most influential.

What do we offer?

  • A strategic seat at the table with senior leaders, board exposure, and influence across a rapidly growing business unit.
  • The opportunity to work from our global headquarters in Schaan, surrounded by mountain views, modern workspaces, healthy food options, and in-house fitness facilities.
  • Relocation support for candidates across Europe, or flexible commuting options for those based in Switzerland or Austria.
  • Access to Hilti's global talent development programs, career mobility, and the chance to make an impact far beyond one BU.
  • Flexible work arrangements, e-bikes, parking, and on-site daycare to support your full life-not just your work life.

What do you need?

  • Master’s degree in finance, Business, or related field (CPA/CMA/CA is a plus).
  • 7–10 years’ experience in finance, consulting, or audit-ideally within multinational organizations.
  • Experience in SaaS/software finance is highly preferred.
  • Strong strategic acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
  • Proven success in business partnering roles—working alongside execs and cross-functional teams to drive real outcomes.
  • Ability to influence without authority, simplify complex financial topics, and communicate clearly in fluent English.
  • Willingness to relocate to Schaan, Liechtenstein or commute from a neighboring country.

Why should you apply?

  • You'll have exposure to senior executives and make decisions that shape the future of our digital business.
  • You’ll be challenged-and supported-to grow beyond your current level into a broader global leadership career.
  • This is a chance to build something lasting: a stronger, smarter finance foundation for the next phase of Hilti's software expansion.

Please note: This role is based in Schaan, Liechtenstein. We offer relocation support for candidates across Europe and a flexible hybrid work model-allowing you to split your time between the office and working from home.
