The role of the Supply Chain Operations Manager is a critical part of making Flexport’s mission to make global trade easy for everyone a reality. Flexport today connects almost 10,000 clients and suppliers across 109 countries.
WHAT you’ll be doing?
As a Supply Chain Operations Manager you will be delegated to hire, train, and develop a team of motivated operations experts while strategically leading them through the complex world of freight forwarding. You will work cross-functionally to navigate through various challenges and establish a world-class operating team. Your job as a leader is to create balance for those you manage to execute efficiently and think strategically about continuous improvement. You will be an expert in executing the end-to-end movement of shipments within a regional network including Air and LCL imports and exports.

WHAT you will need?
As this is a leadership role, you should be an expert in the logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain environment. You should also have a proven track record of leading teams in dynamic environments. You also take pride in your attention to detail and time management skills. Problem solving is a part of your day-to-day activities. Most importantly will have a flexible can do attitude being able to flex and pivot your style depending on the business needs and have the courage to challenge the status when logic and reason require it
You are required to be business fluent in German for this role.
