Job Title:      APRN 

Department: Palliative/Hospice Care 

Reports To: Supervising Physician & Director/Associate Director of Physician Offices

Job Summary: Responsibilities of APRN under general supervision of provider.

Our Hospital based Palliative/Hospice Care department is seeking a full-time APRN .  Palliative or Hospice certified preferred but not required.  

Keys to Success in this Role:

• Evaluate patients and treat health conditions
• Complete documentation in a timely manner
• Enter charges
• Assist supervising provider with completion of tasks
• Assist in call rotation
• Ensure tasks, labs, and diagnostics have been reviewed and addressed as needed
• Attend all required meetings/conferences

Job Qualifications:

• Licensed APRN with the State of Florida
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer proficiency
• Ability to plan ahead, organize, and manage multiple priorities
• Must be willing to travel to multiple Hospital locations

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Normal physical ability
• Above average concentration and high level complexity of decision making
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Tolerance to stressful situations

Occupational Exposure:

• High risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards
