This full -time position is for a Medical Receptionist within the Pulmonology department. Typical schedule is Monday-Thursday 8am - 5pm. Travel required to Brandon/Carrollwood offices, main office is Tampa. Ability to multi task and provide excellent customer service. Bilingual is a plus but not mandatory.

Keys to Success in this Role: Requires Travel to multiple locations.

  • Assist traffic at the front window
  • Complete patient check in processes
  • Assist providers and patients at the conclusion of the visit
  • Collect and process monies due
  • Process medication requests
  • Address tasks in a timely manner
  • Scan medical documentation into the records system
  • Answer phones and assist callers
  • Perform incidental duties as needed

Physical and Mental Demands: Travel

 

  • Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods
  • Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

 

Job Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong team player
