About the role
Sitting within the wider Merchandise team you’ll work in a small, tight knit team who are tasked with ensuring all BAU article data is maintained, correct and up to date as well as providing analytical support to all stores across the North Island.  
 
You’ll work closely with Category, AMD, Supply Chain and IT to improve our Article Master Data and handle queries from the wider Foodstuffs network including stores to resolve their complex issues.
 
With a strong focus on providing root cause analysis, reporting and analysis to drive continuous improvement, you’ll do a mix of BAU and ad-hoc analysis.
 
Among other things, in this role you’ll be responsible for:
·       Alignment between FSSI and FSNI, ensuring the data in SAP is current and up to date
·       Interface reporting, ensuring SAP and our Host systems are aligned (including WMS, TMS, JDA WMS, etc)
·       Manage data updates and changes at a mass level
·       Providing training and coaching to both merchandise team members and store staff on SAP updates, systems or process changes
 
About you
With a naturally analytical mind set you will ideally have a worked in a role that has a focus on data analysis and will have had exposure to large data sets.  Your great communication skills you will enable you to coach and train those around you, building strong relationships with store-based staff. Flexible and curious, you’ll also need; 
·       Systems savvy with experience in SAP, SQL and Advanced Excel
·       High attention to detail
·       Strong problem-solving ability
·       Ability to work in a diverse and fast paced environment
