About the role
As a Produce Business Manager you’ll be working in a fast paced produce merchandise team responsible for promotions and supplier and grower strategic relationship management.
 
This is a highly strategic role where your key objective is to supply high quality fresh produce on time and at the best possible cost for our stores. You are responsible for ensuring that our team of 5 million, get their five+ a day!
 
This is a truly dynamic role you will wear many hats. In this role you’ll:
·       Lead and develop a team
·       Work with suppliers negotiating range, quality, price and promotion to deliver the best priced produce to stores
·       Own the overall category strategy ensuring growth and customer satisfaction
 
About you
With a strategic approach, you’ll be confident developing your category, applying your extensive knowledge of fresh produce to all that you do and utilising our customer driven tools. You will have the commercial nouse to step into tough conversations, be data driven to drive outcomes and maintain excellent and enduring relationships with growers and suppliers. An influencer with a passion for all things fresh, you’ll have proven commercial negotiation skills, will be customer driven and ultimately focused on delivering the best produce with the highest levels of customer service.
