About the role
New World is a constant in the everyday lives of many Kiwis. Our customers' habits are changing and this role will push the brand and customer experience further, future-proofing our offer so that our customers keep coming back.
 
Some key responsibilities include: 
·       Plan and execute campaign activities and budgets, influencing national planning processes
·       Working closely with other centre business units and teams on campaign activities to ensure our price and promo aligns with our customer promises, business goals and plans
·       Collaborating with Merchandise Category Teams to co-create, plan, and implement new promotion activities
·       Collaborating with creative teams and third parties to produce on brand and visually striking content that captivates customers
·       Utilising customer data and insights to shape marketing activation plans and influence stakeholders as necessary
 
About you
Coming from an agency background, you’ll have a solid understanding of general marketing and advertising principles.  Able to translate complex information into clarity, you’ll have a live by the numbers attitude with proven experience delivering returns i.e. sales, increased spend and loyalty.  You’ll also be a strong collaborator between multiple stakeholders.
 
You’ll also:
·       Have excellent communication, copy writing, creative thinking skills
·       Be highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects to meet deadlines
·       Have meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
·       Be a proactive problem solver with a sense of ownership
·       Have a balance of creative and analytical capabilities.
