Our Retail Operations and Transformation team maintain a strong focus on SAP support, in-store operations, and checkouts across all three retail banners. Monitoring a range of important metrics, the team are also involved in new store openings, ownership changes, and various business initiatives.
Te Tūranga – About the role
You’ll be leading a specialist team responsible for the continuous improvement of performance in the Dry and Checkout areas. You’ll build capability through coaching to enable your team, operators and store teams to maximise return on investment within the Dry and Checkout side of the business and will lift the performance of stores.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
· Develop and land a Warrant of Fitness framework for stores ensuring that each store meets the desired operational standards of each Banner
· Ensure the team identify and record customer focused opportunities and agreed actions and coach stores using expertise and knowledge on supported processes to improve overall performance in a customer centric way
· Manage first line store support query resolution via service calls, e-mails, phone calls and any other communication methods
· Support agreed business process change, ensuring stores are coached on the value of following new supported processes
· Assist the wider Retail team to continuously review supported processes to ensure continuous adaptation to the needs of our customers and business change
· Plan upskilling to improve understanding and in-depth knowledge all systems across the team e.g. Productivity, Storeline, Electronic shelf labels

He kōrero mōu - About you
You’ll be a proven leader with strong grocery retail management experience as well as demonstrated process and system skills.
You’ll also:
· Have great coaching, consulting and partnership skills allowing you to effectively influence key stakeholders
· Be a subject matter expert in all things Retail Operations and have the proven ability to identify risks and opportunities, making you the natural ‘go to person’ for all operational system related enquiries
· The ability to anticipate and adjust for problems or roadblocks and effectively shift priorities to maintain both a process and result focus
