We have a newly created role for a Retail Products Owner to join our Retail Strategy & Products team. Please note this is a business owner role rather than an IT or technical product owner role. 
 
Responsible for driving the success of customer value products such as Christmas Club, supermarket specific gift cards and the 'Made 2 order' catering platform, you’ll also:
·       Develop and articulate a vision and strategy for each retail product, how this aligns with business goals and can deliver strong value.
·       Work with key business and IT stakeholders to establish three-year product management roadmaps for assigned customer products (e.g. gift cards) to drive revenue and customer engagement and loyalty.
·       Utilise market and customer insights to understand current retail trends and identify new opportunities to add value to our customers.
·       Gather data and insights to support the development of business cases to take through business decision-making processes.
·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver on product roadmaps, identify and manage risks, evaluate the effectiveness of customer products and drive ongoing enhancements based on customer feedback.
·       Developing comprehensive implementation plans to effectively rollout and manage customer products, technologies and solutions at store level. This may include change management, stakeholder engagement, developing communication plans, training and enablement for store teams and ongoing monitoring and reporting on performance levels.
 
We’re looking for a product owner who’s passionate about identifying opportunities to exceed customer expectations and has:
·       A proven track record of managing customer valued products, particularly partnering with key stakeholders to manage the product lifecycle and deliver exceptional business results.
·       Experience with creating high quality outputs including product growth plans, roadmaps, business cases and other materials.
·       The ability to interpret data and customer insights and clearly articulate a compelling reason for prioritisation and investment into retail products.
·       Excellent relationship management and communication skills. Must be able to work closely with a variety of stakeholders from all levels and effectively form networks across the organisation.
·       Strong business acumen with the ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level
·       Excellent project management skills and ability to drive initiatives from ideation to successful execution.
