The Role

As our Senior Data and Analytics Consultant with a focus in SAP, you're not just a cog in the machine – you're a mastermind behind our SAP-powered transformation. Picture this: you're diving deep into our vast troves of data, shaping it into actionable insights that drive our business to new heights. Your day-to-day is a thrilling blend of innovation and problem-solving, where every challenge is an opportunity to showcase your expertise. Here's a taste of what you'll be getting up to:
 
Leading SAP Projects: You'll spearhead SAP implementation projects, from conception to execution, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Analytics Implementation: Develop reusable common data models, applying analytics and growing self service capability to support business decisions.  
Technical Support: You'll provide expert-level technical support to our teams, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions with finesse.
Collaboration: You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between technical requirements and business objectives.
Continuous Improvement: You'll stay ahead of the curve, researching emerging SAP trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Cloud Migration: You'll lead implementation for migrating our SAP systems from on-premises to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
Infrastructure Optimisation: You'll help optimise our data assets toward the cloud, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.
Design & Experience: You'll ensure compliance with approved design patterns and procedures, implementing robust measures to maximise end-user experience.
Training and Support: You'll provide training and support to our teams, empowering them to grow drive innovation across the co-op.

About You 
 
Are you a data-driven trailblazer with a knack for turning complexity into clarity? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where innovation and problem-solving go hand in hand? If so, you might just be the perfect fit! We're seeking someone who's not just a technical expert but a strategic thinker, someone who can translate business needs into actionable plans and lead the charge on innovative, SAP-based, solutions. If you're passionate about pushing boundaries, staying ahead of the curve, and making a meaningful impact in the world of data analytics, then we want to hear from you.
 
Essential for your success in this role will be your: 
 
- Expertise in SAP systems with a strong understanding of SAP technical architecture and functionalities, specifically in SAP BW, SAP ABAP, SAP Datasphere & SAP HANA.
- Proficiency in developing predictive models and applying analytics and machine learning algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that meet industry standards and specifications (e.g. CDS Views, Advanced SQL, Python, R)

Other desirable skills would be your:

- Ability to lead and collaborate on innovative solutions for both on-premises and cloud-based SAP environments.
- Strong understanding of business needs and the ability to translate them into technical requirements.
- Proficiency in data modelling, including designing robust Operational and Analytical Data models.
- Experience with data visualisation tools to convey complex data in a clear and straightforward manner.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the co-op.
- Continuous learning mindset with a proactive approach to exploring new technologies and techniques.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications in SAP and data analytics being a plus.
