About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Test Automation Lead to join our high performing IT Testing practice. In this role you will be working in an open and supportive culture, focusing on empowering your team and build automation capability within Foodies.
This role will focus on researching, assessing and learning new technologies, methodologies and frameworks and help implement them in practice.
Successful applicant for this role will:
· Take ownership of Automation capability across all product lines.
· Consolidate existing and build new frameworks from scratch in order to provide a consistent testing capability.
· Assist with the hiring of Automation Engineers to build a strong Automation team & processes.
· Put processes in place which will ensure that Automation standards & best practices are followed through all departments.
In this role you will assist the Testing Manager and highly supportive IT Leadership team, to ensure that we achieve our strategic goals regarding Automation implementation and development.
About you
You’ll be enthusiastic and passionate about testing and Automation. You’ll be able to demonstrate Test Automation experience and coordination in complex environments and projects.
A proactive professional, keys skills and experience to succeeding in this role will include:
· Experience as a Test Automation Lead, with knowledge of API and UI test automation frameworks using commercial and open source solutions (Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Specflow, BDD, Applitools, TestNG, Sauce Labs etc.).
· Tosca experience is beneficial
· Knowledge of Appium or similar mobile Automation tool, familiarity with mobile device automation
· Good knowledge of CI and source code control/deployment tools (Bamboo, Github, Bitbucket, …), ability to support CI/CD
· Working experience with Defect tracking/project management tools (Jira or similar)
· Proven (working) test automation experience and coordination on complex projects and environments (Online – Web and devices, SAP, Salesforce, JDE…)
· Experience in providing automation thought leadership and developing testing strategies for enterprise scale products
