Your work-life opportunity:

Glovo is looking for a passionate, proactive, data-driven and hands-on professional to support our Live Operations Strategy & Analytics department in our headquarters in Barcelona. You will act and operate as a startup within a startup, providing both strategic thinking and analytical skills to help building excellence in Operations.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Do in-depth understanding of the company, the operations model in Glovo and their KPIs and drivers to provide advice to the different team business
  • Contribute to the business discussion by suggesting different and novel analysis approaches 
  • translate business queries into quantified & insightful reporting and KPIs to assess performance and determine the effectiveness of the implemented initiatives
  • Own creation and structure of Live Operations KPIs, ensure they are properly implemented in the DDBB
  • Define and design dashboards to give visibility to the top-management of the Live Operations performance
  • Establish close working relationships with stakeholders 
  • Follow a data-driven decision-making process
  • share continuous status reports and actionable summary reports to the team
  • Give life to your craziest ideas and have an immediate impact
  • Report to the Customer Compensations Manager
  •  

You have:

  • 1-2 years of experience working on analytics in a similar/relevant industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with clean & optimized SQL and python, querying mid to large volumes of data.
  • Good understanding of how to extract insights from Data Warehouses
  • Ability to summarize and represent data (e.g descriptive statistics and graphs).
  • Ability to create robust, insightful, and story-telling visualizations using modern BI & Analytics tools and ability to identify data Issues. 
  • Familiarity with a collaborative environment and/or version control (GitHub, Git).
  • Understanding of A/B test principles, in order to design, conduct and analyze different experiments.
  • You are eager to learn, hungry for knowledge, and want to work towards growing in your career from day one.
  • You are independent in solving problems within your own capabilities and proactive to ask for support when the task is beyond your own expertise
  • You take part in team and company activities helping to build a fun and inclusive work environment
  • You are happy to help out other co-workers.
  • You volunteer for work that you can and learn along the way (and you’re not afraid to take on new challenges).
  • You are not afraid of giving/receiving constant & honest feedback.
