Glovo is building the future of cities by enabling anyone to get any product from any store in their city delivered in minutes. Our goal is to provide on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world.

The eLogistics team is Glovo’s last-mile logistics service for e-commerce, a huge industry that is still growing rapidly with many challenges ahead. At Glovo, you will join a team that is working to revolutionize the industry from scratch with the main e-commerce players in any market (e.g. Alibaba).

In this role you will be responsible for setting-up and implementing our Warehouse vision and global strategy. Your responsibilities will range from managing a global team of regional WH managers, pickers, etc. to designing the robotics strategy to be implemented globally.

You will be working closely with the Global Operations team, the eLogistics global GM, and the Local Ops teams where we operate.

This role will be growing as we expand to more countries. Should be the owner of all warehouses management and related business, plus all transport intercity at a global level.

Be a part of a team where you will:

• Responsible for building and owning the performance of all our warehouses globally.
• Build processes to scale the logistic effort without compromising quality
• Own the warehouse operational KPIs (e.g. picker speed, wrong parcels) and optimize warehousing (rent), picker costs and transportation with direct impact on P&L
• Lead the warehouse strategy and vision in terms of locations, technology (e.g. implement robotics) and processes
• Coordinate and work together with the Expansion Managers to successfully launch eLogistics operations in new cities / countries
• Work closely with product and the technology teams to ensure we develop and implement reliable and scalable systems and solutions
• Create and centralize standard operating procedures to ensure quality of execution from our teams and proper training globally
• Responsible for managing the whole eLogistics warehouse structure, building the team and hiring top talent, help them perform, grow and develop as professionals
• Participate in real estate fundraising activities and own capex planning to build our warehouse network
• Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

• 7+ years of experience in high demanding operation positions (logistics/consulting)
• Broad experience of working in/and managing a team in a warehouse setting
• Experience in logistics / supply chain and warehouse management is a must
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques. Black belt is a big plus.
• Results oriented, analytical  and out-of-the-box mindset to re-think our processes.
• Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects with experience leading cross-functional projects and teams, driving results.
• Excellent communication, the ability to engage internal and external customers.
• Joy in building things from scratch, if something needs to get done you are comfortable figuring it out on your own and not relying on a playbook.
• Ready to get your hands dirty, because you will have to “roll up your sleeves”!
• Comfort in ambiguity, you seek adventure and an accelerated career path.
• Fluent English.
