In the context of the continuously growing sector of food delivery, the Food Innovation team inside Glovo has the mission to innovate around new food concepts and maximise value for our partners and customers.


Glovo is creating the next generation of food delivery brands. These brands are designed by Glovo using customer feedback to provide the best user experience to our customers. These brands are operated by our partners (restaurants working with Glovo) through a franchising model where we create the brand, take care of  the marketing, take care of the supply chain and train their chefs so they just have to cook while we help them grow their top line!


You will be responsible for the expansion of our brands to new countries, grow our franchisees network, ensure franchisees operate following best practices to ensure high quality standards and the optimization of our franchisees operations. 

BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:

  • Be part of the creation and lead the expansion of the next generation of food delivery brands
  • Lead a team of launchers that will build relationships with local teams to successfully expand our project to all countries while understanding the local needs of both our teams and users
  • Iterate and implement our Expansion Playbook for Sales, Account Management, Training and Auditing of our franchisees network 
  • Monitor the development of the launching process of all countries and be ready to step in as problems appear always looking for new scalable ways to improve our KPI’s
  • Be prepared to take quick data-driven actions with limited historic available, and be flexible to change course if needed
  • A data-driven mentality: taking decisions based on data and using good business judgment when necessary
  • Lead by example by being incredibly truth seeking, making data-driven decisions, and setting the high standards for your team

YOU HAVE:

  • Min of  5+ yr of experience in fast-paced environments (startups, investment banking, top consulting firms, top internet firms)
  • A data-driven mentality: taking decisions based on data and using good business judgment when necessary
  • You enjoy simplifying complex problems with scalable solutions and standardisation processes
  • You're persuasive in the most pleasant possible way and have no trouble selling anything
  • You've got a good judgment but own up to your mistakes
  • You're extremely curious and have a desire to acquire a deep understanding
  • You find smart and elegant solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems
  • You're extremely agile and thrive in ambiguous environments
  • You are always respectful, kind and fair. All of your (former) reports speak highly of you as a manager and leader
  • You have an ambition that makes some people think you're crazy while inspiring others
  • You’re an owner, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented
  • English and Spanish proficiency
