Your work-life opportunity:

At Glovo, we are looking for a highly analytical profile to join our FP&A team as an Analyst at our Global HQ in Barcelona. This team plays a key role in leading the Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting activities throughout the Company and making sure all Company strategic decisions are supported by robust Financial Analysis.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Define and develop Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting activities of the Company
  • Support in Strategic Budget decisions throughout the Company
  • Understand business drivers & KPIs to create financial models and evaluate strategic alternatives
  • Drive improvements on short and long term forecasting models
  • Acquire a high level of knowledge across all business areas by understanding key initiatives, challenges and opportunities
  • Become the guardian of the company's growth and profitability since day 1
  • Participate in presentations to relevant stakeholders about the performance of the company & business units
  • Challenge business plans & forecasts presented to top Management
  • Perform ad hoc business analysis and drive continual process improvements linked to efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of planning & analysis activities
  • Create and simplify Financial Planning tools and processes for HQ & region
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

You have:

  • +2 years of experience in Finance, Strategy or Transaction Advisory (Finance departments in fast-paced Companies, Consulting firms, Big 4 Firms...)
  • Advanced command of the English language
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics with a strong passion for Finance is required
  • Proven track record, strong business acumen, problem solver, data-driven with an analytical approach, proactive and autonomous
  • An ability to take any problem, deep dive, reveal route cause, draft improvement solutions and communicate to stakeholders
  • An ability to summarize and present complex plans to Management and key stakeholders
  • Robust analytical & modelling skills required
  • Ability to simplify and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes
  • Obsessed with continuous improvements, delivering value and allergic to manual tasks!
  • G Suite expert (Sheets, Presentations), Office Suite expert (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Prior knowledge of SQL/ETL will be highly considered, a willingness to learn is these skills is essential
  • Comfort with complex reportings and forecasting models
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
