Your work-life opportunity:

At Glovo, we are looking for a profile with several years of experience in the financial systems and data field to join us as the new Global Head of Finance Systems at our Global HQ in Barcelona and become an integral pillar of the Global Finance function.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Ensure the finance systems & infrastructure in order to enable and empower the finance function to complete all deliverables with a high-level of accuracy, insight and efficiency, with a focus on eliminating manual work at every finance area
  • Develop, manage and transform the finance systems team to deliver the highest quality support to the finance community and all business
  • Own all post-transformation finance system solutions, processes and applications
  • Design, build, implement and test, managing all phases of various projects including allocation of resources (ERP, EPM, Reporting Tool)
  • Lead Business Product Management of the Finance Department
  • Lead, optimize and successfully deliver future integration/migration of businesses acquired by organization in or out of the group's financial systems & infrastructure
  • Proactively look for opportunities to make incremental enhancements and improvements to current and future finance systems, reporting and data analytics capabilities
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the group's financial systems and analytics capabilities, to make them better, simpler and more
  • Recruit, lead and develop a finance team of +5 people, helping them to improve and deliver the highest level of service to the main finance stakeholders and users

You have:

  • Experience with system integration, improvement and modernization
  • Display experience in interpreting, structuring and optimizing large commercial data sets (both financial and non-financial) to ensure the business able to take advantage of enhancing insight
  • You will have a proven track record in delivering system
  • Highly competent in writing coding languages such as SQL, R, VBA & Macros
  • Extensive experience with analytics tools such as Tableau, Qlikview or Power BI
  • Qualified accountant with a proven track record of career progression in a large and dynamic organization
  • >3/4 years of experience working in a relevant similar role
  • You will have managed staff
  • You will have developed business partnering relationships at a senior level within an organization
  • Driving change, improvement and challenge through an organization or department
  • Great at building strong, effective working relationships and stakeholder management
  • Ability to get both the big picture and the detail
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge
  • Robust, with high levels of personal resilience and capable of working in a demanding, fast-paced and dynamic environment
