Your work-life opportunity:

At Glovo, we are looking for a profile with several years of experience in Finance and People Controlling to join us as our new People Controlling Manager at our Global HQ in Barcelona.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Lead all the People Controlling activities of the Company
  • Manage a team of 3 Controllers
  • Ensure completeness, timeliness and accuracy of all People Financial reporting
  • Lead and develop Controlling landscape of the People reporting activities throughout the Company
  • Ensure the People financial reporting compliance and deliverable of the Salary Total Cost Reporting
  • Become the owner of our Headcount Planning Process and well as re-forecast activities
  • Manage People G&A Cost Controlling, analyse contracts and invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at expected cost and are well allocated in the People budget
  • Provide meaningful Personnel insights (YoY, MoM and vs BP) after closing to all the company  stakeholders
  • Identify and raise cost savings opportunities
  • Coordinate and Ensure Closing Calendar alignment with the HQ Controlling Team and Payroll team
  • Create and simplify People Reporting (Headcount and Personnel costs) throughout the Company
  • Maintain and adapt the People Financial Reporting structure following the Company’s continuous activities expansion
  • Support in the implementation of a reporting solution (People Reporting, EPM), to execute the self service vision of the Finance Department
  • Interaction point between providers and Accounts Payables, to ensure Invoices will be paid in time, becoming the guardian of the People Department budget & execution since day 1
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

You have:

  • +3 years of experience according to the position
  • +7 years of experience in Finance (Finance departments, Accounting or Audit firms)
  • Advanced command of the English language
  • Proven track record, strong business acumen, problem solver, data-driven with an analytical approach, proactive and autonomous, good vibes & techie!
  • An ability to take any problem, deep dive, reveal route cause, draft improvement solutions and communicate to stakeholders
  • An ability to summarize and present complex plans to Management and key stakeholders
  • Obsessed with continuous improvements, delivering value and allergic to manual tasks!
  • G Suite expert (Sheets, Presentations), Office Suite expert (Excel)
  • Experiences with multiple ERPs
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting required
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
