YOUR MISSION

The couriers are the key player in Glovo’s marketplace. We are looking for Operations Senior Analysts who will find the balance between creativity and data-driven objectivity in such a way that they carry out projects that seem impossible until they come true.
You will be in charge of providing & analyzing data to the team. Through analytics you will ensure we always have the right strategic data in place in order to take the best operation decisions having direct impact on the Local P&L
THE JOURNEY
- Provide analytical support to the team throughout deeper understanding of Glovo's operations model
- Perform analysis to come up with insights to help improve KPIs
- Understand and fix data reliability issues
- Act as the main data POC for the department supporting with data, reporting and adopting a data driven approach
- Help to find insights through data analysis during the couriers first deliveries in order to maximize retention
- Own dashboards and build new tools to improve the visibility of metrics in the department
- Develop analytical frameworks and models for the area and be able to instruct and communicate for all the department
- Understand and deep-dive into the data to understand the reasons and the levers we can act upon to improve KPIs (and be accountable for them)
- Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative analyses and A/B tests
- Understand local needs, and put yourself in the skin of the courier - understand who they are.
- Work closely with local/regional stakeholders, product teams and development teams, serving as a bridge between product and operations, to define how to best set up and enable products, monitor and give visibility of metrics and KPIs.
- Deep-dive on business metrics, in order to explore areas of opportunity and enable data-driven decision-making, based on applied statistics and probability techniques
- Build optimization processes to define the best tuning of every feature on each geography.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Passion about analytics: you enjoy deep diving into problems to find the root cause
- Problem-solving skills: no problem is too small or too big
- Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
- Proficient in SQL (Python will be considered as plus)
- Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Data Studio & Qlikview
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (Georgian & English is a must)
- Proactive, organized, and obsessed with details
- University degree in a relevant field (economics, mathematics, organizational sciences and similar).
- 2+ years of experience in similar roles. Experience in Logistics would be a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Capable of executing tasks quickly while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Very Hands-on, willingness to get hands dirty, go on the field and support all verticals of the company.
- Experience in KPIs tracking and creation and optimization expertise
