Your work-life opportunity:

We need a 360º, analytical and data-driven person to take full ownership of our Operations in the North of Spain. Go-to-action attitude is crucial in this job, so we need a thinker but also a problem-solver with a 100% hands-on attitude.

For this role you need a well rounded personality and diverse skills to improve our operations in Spain, lead a talented team of relentless ops passionates and bring them to the highest level of performance. Your role will make you deal with multiple concurrent decisions in very different cities, including topics such as supply management, ops planning, performance analysis, team management and much more.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Manage the regional operations end-to-end, ensuring we get to our ambitious targets
  • Become the senior management right-hand in any topic related to operations in any city in the North, setting region-wide targets and defining the 70/20/10 operational strategy
  • Be prepared to take quick data-driven actions with limited historic available, and be flexible to change course if needed
  • Lead the team in your Region, by hiring, training and mentoring your team members
  • Standardize processes across the different cities and geographies under your scope, building tools to speed up Local teams’ autonomy
  • Work with local providers, local teams, and global teams (partner operations, legal, etc), to ensure the best in class operations in the region
  • Leading product implementation and development processes.
  • Cultivate relationships internally to be the voice of your cities within Operations’ teams, and also externally to truly understand the local needs of our riders, partners and customers
  • Lead by example by being incredibly truth seeking, making data-driven decisions, and setting the high standards for your team
  • Bring our (hopefully your) operations’ team to the next level!

You have:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in an operational environment and 2+ years managing teams. Having worked with senior management is a plus.
  • The skills to manage the big picture and the smallest details. You´re always on top of your deadlines and you demonstrate to be an organization freak!
  • Track record of success delivering and implementing new solutions/processes/standardization
  • Experience on KPIs tracking and creation and optimization expertise
  • Problem solver, data-driven decision-making with an analytical approach
  • Proficiency skills in Excel/Google Sheets are a must
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in similar industries, strategy/operations’ consulting or technology companies will be valued
  • Ability to balance swift pace of execution with attention to detail
  • Proficient in English and Spanish
  • Analytical profile, goal-oriented, and teamwork
  • Owner and accountable
