Based in our HQ in Barcelona, as Product Manager of the New Customer Conversion team, you are responsible for driving our efforts to acquire new users through mobile web and desktop. You’ll achieve this by deeply understanding user psychology, design thinking and jobs to be done and forming hypotheses and experiments to reduce friction is a new user journey into order from Glovo and becoming a customer.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, data analysts, seo and sem stakeholders through the organization to build the product and technical solutions which unlock strategic and sustainable growth.

Your goals as a PM

  • Work with one full-sized cross-functional development team (8 Developers)
  • Lead quarterly goal planning and define KPIs and key deliverables for first-order conversion (how to improve new customer conversion, signups on web and app, onboarding and registration flows)
  • Scope includes onboarding, registration and new customer conversion from key pages on mobile web and desktop.
  • Write PIDs for larger features ensuring close collaboration with design, engineering, marketing and other key stakeholders
  • Inspire the engineers on your team with your passion for the product and create a sense of urgency by challenging your team to go above and beyond your roadmap.
  • Effectively manage the most demanding external stakeholders.
  • Conduct deep UX design reviews and research and work collaboratively with a solution mindset with design, ux-research, data analysts and engineering

Understand the drivers for first-order conversion and experiment to increase conversion

  • Work with data, user research and customer experience and support ops team to understand the drivers of first-order conversion
  • Conduct a funnel analysis to understand which pages receive traffic, traffic source, and how they convert.
  • Set deep dives on problem areas to conduct user research and impact assessment to identify hypotheses to improve conversion.
  • Classify conversion by types of pages, where traffic lands
  • Develop a roadmap of features and drive alignment with stakeholders.
  • Work with the engineering team to execute those features and improve metrics like First orders / new session (New Customer Conversion) from mobile web and desktop

Increase signups and improve onboarding from the web and in the app

  • How can we improve our ability to get users to sign up on the web
  • Improve features to onboard new users to place orders
  • Come up with product solutions to solve these areas.
  • Improve KPI such as New Customer/SignUps, SignUps/New visits.

Liaison with cross-functional teams to execute and implement features

  • Work with the performance marketing team to understand their goals and help improve conversion by channel.
  • Work with other teams who contribute to common areas of the website.

You have:

  • 3-4+ years of relevant product experience
  • Relevant work experience in checkout, search, recommendation or funnel optimisation techniques or worked in growth.
  • Problem Solving and Logical Reasoning
  • A/B testing. Data-Driven and able to size opportunities.
  • Ability to formulate hypothesis based on both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Technical know-how, eye for details and understand the basics on mobile and desktop web - speed, technologies, optimisation techniques, progressive web apps
  • Agile Process and Methodologies: SCRUM/Kanban and rituals with the engineering team
  • Superb communication—you have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You make complex ideas understandable and craft specs that are easy for multiple audiences to consume
  • Excellent spoken and written English
