We are looking for a Staff Frontend Software Engineer to join the Growth Cluster. Our vision is to build a smart and effortless on-demand service that connects people to anything they need in a balanced marketplace. To achieve this vision, we need to bring our user-facing products’ quality and technical maturity to the next level to achieve this vision.
Glovo started as a mobile-first company, but as the company grew, Web has become one of the strategic areas of investment. As a Staff Engineer working closely with Frontend teams, you will have an opportunity to redefine the way we build and manage web applications for years to come.
This is a high impact role where you will be a part of the cluster leadership team. Some of the challenges that you will get to work on include Modularisation, Performance, Security, Experimentation, Developer Efficiency, etc.

You have:
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
- A passion for making a positive impact on the life of millions of people through technology
- At least 10 years of experience in software engineering roles and agile environments
- Deep knowledge and experience with frontend technologies
- Experience scaling high traffic web applications in a competitive business environment
- A tool-belt of tricks and best practices for building scalable e-commerce applications
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence other people
- Demonstrated experience in enabling engineering teams to produce high quality, innovative solutions for technically challenging problems
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments
- Excellent spoken and written English is a must
