Associate Manager, Studio Systems & Technology 

Location: NYC

Reports to:  Associate Director, Studio Operations

As the Associate Manager, Studio Systems & Technology you will partner closely with the AD, Studio Operations and assist in driving operational efficiency in the studio by analyzing existing workflow, optimizing processes and integrating automation tools. This role will serve as the strategic connector between Studio Operations and all of our cross-functional partners, ensuring a seamless execution of projects and enhanced collaboration.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for operational excellence, and experience implementing workflow improvements that enhance scalability and efficiency.

 

You will....

  • Analyze current studio processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual efforts
  • Devise strategic plans for process improvement and automation implementation based on HelloFresh’s goals, industry best practices, and technology trends
  • Conduct thorough testing and recommend suitable automation tools and technologies that align with team OKRs
  • Serve as the liaison between cross-functional teams to develop and implement streamlined processes that intersect with the studio
  • Oversee the deployment of efficiency  solutions, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly with existing team systems, tech and processes
  • Document new processes, create training materials and lead training sessions for relevant stakeholders
  • Establish monitoring mechanisms to track the performance of automated processes and provide ongoing support for maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Assess the return on investment (ROI) and cost-effectiveness of initiatives
  • Act as an extension of the AD, Studio Operations to provide operational support across all studio functions 

You Have.......

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Marketing or a related field. Advanced degree or additional certifications in project management or production are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in studio operations, production management, workflow optimization, or a related field. Experience working in an in-house agency, in-house studio or similar creative environment is highly desirable.
  • Skills
    • Mastery of photo/video studio processes and tools associated with the workflows (Capture One, DAM systems, studio workflow tools, etc.)
    • Proficiency of automation tools, emerging technologies and best practices
    • In depth expertise of Google sheets, base knowledge of Java script is a plus
    • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving
    • Experience with process improvement methodologies (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
    • Ability to translate technical or process-heavy concepts into clear, actionable insights
    • Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proactive problem solver eager to tackle complex workflows and processes 
    • Self-starter who is able to work both independently and within a team, generating measurable results 
    • Data-driven decision maker
    • Continuous learner, always staying on top of trends in the tech space (automation and AI) and assessing areas to apply new technology to existing processes.

New York Pay Range
$82,500$105,000 USD
