Green Chef is the #1 Meal Kit for Eating Clean—and we have some exciting things on the horizon! We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial marketer to join us as Manager of Business Development. In this role, you’ll identify, launch, and scale innovative marketing partnerships and channels that drive sustainable, incremental growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a sharp eye for emerging opportunities, a passion for testing and learning, and the ability to dive deep into performance data while effectively championing the brand.
The role reports to the Marketing Director of Green Chef and involves close cross functional collaboration with the broader organization such as Marketing Channel Leads, Analytics, Brand Creative and Product Marketing. Your efforts will directly impact customer acquisition, brand visibility, and long-term customer profitability for HelloFresh’s most premium meal kit offering, proven to help you build healthy habits.
You will…
- Identify, stand up & execute novel marketing initiatives to drive incremental, sustainable growth
- Lead strategy & execution of Partnerships & B2B (partner with internal teams where applicable)
- Accelerate GenAI strategy & team utilization to increase efficiency & growth
- Lead ad hoc projects to support channel diversification and expansion
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, new growth tactics and tech to fuel innovation and differentiation
- Track KPI performance across initiatives, using data and insights to guide strategy & optimizations; regularly synthesize and share test learnings
- Design, execute and report out on experiments e.g. A/B or other test structure
- Manage external partners and internal collaborators to deliver high-impact campaigns from concept through execution and optimization
- Develop, brief, and review creative assets and messaging, ensuring alignment with brand and performance goals
You are…
- 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, partnerships or a similar role, preferably at a high-growth consumer brand or agency with a focus on D2C/eCommerce/subscription models
- Proven track record working on emerging or innovative marketing initiatives and making them successful from a customer economics point of view
- You are entrepreneurial and have experience being resourceful and finding creative solutions to solve problems head-on.
- You are quick to act! You know an opportunity when you see one.
- You have great written and verbal communication and you can autonomously prepare presentations and pitch to various companies.
- You are data driven and can justify your ideas with a sound business case or industry insight.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and experience with test design and execution; skilled in Excel/Sheets, comfortable working with dashboards; SQL experience is a plus.
- You’re naturally attracted to marketing and solving customers’ problems. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty to convince someone to try our products.
