- In addition, you work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as laboratories and authorities and serve as the primary contact person for food microbiology and process hygiene
- You also organize and conduct sample collections, including proper shipment to external laboratories
- Moreover, you analyze trends, identify deviations early, perform root cause analyses, and initiate appropriate corrective actions, including verification
- Additionally, you validate and verify cleaning processes in close coordination with the external cleaning service provider to ensure consistently high cleaning quality
- Finally, you contribute your expertise to national and international FSQA teams, the HACCP team, and cross-departmental projects, and independently conduct shelf-life studies to improve quality
Your profile
- Degree in food technology, food chemistry, or a comparable field of study with a focus on food microbiology, along with at least three years of professional experience in a food processing environment, ideally including laboratory work

- Proficient in developing and implementing risk-based microbiological monitoring plans, with a strong understanding of hygiene-relevant production processes
- Strong interest in operational workflows and continuous improvement of processes and structures, combined with a hands-on mentality
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style, with a high level of learning agility and the ability to work in an agile and results-driven manner
