The role

As a Group Reporting Senior Manager, you will be supporting our Berlin-based Group Reporting team by contributing to high-quality, timely, and accurate external and internal financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with various finance functions across the Group, ensuring consistency, compliance with IFRS, and smooth month-end close processes.

What you’ll do

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Support the consolidation process including data collection, validation, and intercompany reconciliation
• Maintain and validate data in the Group consolidation system
• Contribute to the preparation of information to address audit requests
• Monitor reporting packages from subsidiaries and perform variance analysis and reviews
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of Group reporting processes and internal controls
• Execute regular internal controls to ensure leases are correctly recorded, processed, and maintained in alignment with IFRS 16
• Support the HQ team with technical accounting research, documentation, and compliance initiatives
• Liaise with local finance teams to ensure alignment and resolve reporting issues

What you’ll bring

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in audit, accounting or finance (preferred with a focus on IFRS standards) 
• Hands-on experience with IFRS would be preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple business units or entities in a centralized service environment is an advantage
• Big 4 experience is an additional advantage

Technical Skills:

• Strong MS Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data integration processes is a plus
• Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards and requirements
• Familiarity with financial reporting and consolidation processes in a multinational environment
• Familiarity with the Tagetik platform, particularly in relation to lease accounting and IFRS 16 functionalities is a great advantage
• Fluent English - both oral and written

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users of various technical backgrounds
• Solid time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a multi-entity environment.
