About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented National Account Manager – Independent Grocery to join our Youfoodz business and lead our growth in the Independent Grocery channel. In this role, you will drive sales revenue, manage key national accounts, and expand our customer base. You'll oversee our distribution network to ensure top-notch service and delivery.

You Will
- Achieve revenue, margin and contribution targets for customer groups.
- Identify strategic growth initiatives with customers.
- Lead the development and execution of JBP’s with key customers for 12-24 months.
- Conduct category reviews with an in-depth analysis of the total category, new line presentations, range defense and activation plans, leading and owning the internal processes including; the range review preparation and presentation; the management of all related administration regarding new line setup; forecasting, pricing and communication of ranging decisions to all stakeholders.
- Develop, manage, and implement agreed promotional plans to drive sales and market share.
- Forecasting, planning, and trade spend management.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Metcash, MSO’s, and other significant customers, to ensure the successful delivery of the JBPs.
- Manage the execution of all activities including accountability across the field team and stakeholders.
- Travel as required to meet customer management needs, attend trade shows, and support business growth.
You have…
- 3-4 years’ experience in FMCG sales leadership, account management, or business development.
- Experience within Independent Grocery account management including Metcash Head Office, State DC's and key MSO retailers
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with FMCG databases such as Quantium, Nielsen & IRI/Aztec
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong commercial acumen, resilience, professionalism, and work ethic.

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia
Location: This role can be based in either Brisbane or Sydney
