The role

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh, is seeking a Payroll Expert to support monthly payroll processing, data validation, and reporting in collaboration with our Berlin payroll team. This role ensures payroll accuracy, maintains HR data quality, and serves as a contact for employees and authorities. Importantly, it also plays a key role in contributing to process improvements and supporting various HR projects, offering potential for growth and development.

What you’ll do

• Support in the preparation, follow-up and processing of monthly payroll accounting for our location in close cooperation with the payroll team in Berlin
• Collecting and checking the plausibility of payroll data from various company sources and proactively clarifying special features with employees in advance of payroll runs
• Preparation of evaluations and reconciliation of health insurance accounts
• You play an active role in the continuous development and optimization of processes in payroll accounting and contribute your own ideas to increase efficiency.
• Contact person for employees, social insurance providers and authorities in matters relating to payroll tax and social security law
• Maintaining HR master data and transaction data and ensuring data quality in our HR systems (workday, 3010)
• Further development of the HR department by supporting and participating in various HR projects

What you’ll bring

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification, ideally with experience in payroll accounting
• You have initial knowledge of payroll tax, employment and social security law and are used to implementing legal changes independently.
• You are confident in using MS Office and ideally have experience in HR software systems
• You work independently, in a structured and conscientious manner 
• You always keep an eye on deadlines and are willing to take on responsibility in a dynamic working environment
