The Role
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with a good background in Python, GitHub administration, and Artifactory management. The ideal candidate needs to have good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline best practices, artifact storage management, GitHub administration, and proficient coding skills in Python.
What you’ll bring
Understand business and product needs and manage our global GitHub instance serving all our product engineering teams.
• Design, build, and execute on artifact storage strategy in a scalable and efficient manner.
• Communicate and collaborate with engineering/cross-functional teams to implement a feedback mechanism to optimize Artifactory usage.
- Design, build, and maintain complex python applications.
What you will need:
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 5-8 years of experience in managing CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories, artifact storage management, and software development.
• Enthusiastic learner and skilled in both theory and practice of building and maintaining Python applications in the Django framework.
• Experience managing Artifactory and GitHub Enterprise cloud applications across multiple large engineering teams.
• Work closely with data engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to integrate the solutions into existing systems with systemic feedback and continuous training and optimization.
Technical Skills:
- Mastery of Python programming language.
- Proficient with Linux administration skills, especially with command line.
• Proficient with containerization technologies.
• Proficient with Grafana
