Senior Oracle EBS Business Analyst – Functional (O2C Finance – Receivables)

The team

At Hitachi Vantara, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle EBS Business Analyst to join our Finance Systems team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong functional background and the ability to design and implement complex system solutions. You’ll play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our global Finance operations, with a focus on Order-to-Cash (O2C) Receivables and General Ledger processes.

The role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering Oracle EBS solutions that support Finance operations, particularly in the Receivables and O2C domains. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation. This role requires a proactive, analytical thinker who can work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

 What you’ll be doing?

Oracle EBS Functional & Technical Expertise
•    Configure and design Finance solutions in Oracle EBS R12.2.13, with a focus on Receivables and O2C.
•    Develop and maintain functional documentation including business requirements, functional specs, technical specs, and test plans.
•    Lead the design, testing, and deployment of new business functionality and system enhancements.
•    Support RICEFW development and testing activities.
Business Analysis & Process Optimization
•    Analyze current O2C and Receivables processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
•    Collaborate with Finance teams to define and refine business requirements.
•    Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
•    Support audit and compliance efforts with accurate data and documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•    Work with IT, Finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.
•    Coordinate with third-party vendors for support, issue resolution, and enhancements.
•    Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to other analysts and team members.
Operational Support
•    Monitor and analyze customer billing, collections, and cash application processes.
•    Identify opportunities to streamline the O2C cycle and improve customer experience.
•    Support ERP upgrades and ongoing system enhancements.
•    Provide timely updates on project status, risks, and change requests.

What you´ll bring?

   Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
•    10+ years of experience in Finance operations, with a focus on O2C and Receivables.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•    Proficiency in Oracle EBS and related data tools.
Preferred
•    Experience in a shared services or multinational environment.
