Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they enter the pop-up and provide a welcoming, professional experience.Engage with shoppers to understand their needs and recommend suitable golf products (e.g., clubs, apparel, accessories).Demonstrate product knowledge, including features and benefits of golf gear and equipment.Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems (cash, card, digital payments).Upsell or cross-sell related products when appropriate to maximize revenue per customer.Handle returns or exchanges in line with store policies.Restock merchandise regularly to maintain product availability and an organized display.Assist with inventory checks, counts, and daily stock updates.Maintain attractive, on-brand displays that highlight promotional items and bestsellers.Report low-stock items or fast-moving products to the manager for restocking.Support event-specific promotions, such as giveaways, product demos, or guest appearances.Assist with setup and breakdown of the pop-up at opening and closing each day.Distribute marketing materials, such as flyers, coupons, or branded items.Open and close the pop-up store per standard procedures, including securing the space.Maintain cleanliness and order, ensuring fitting areas and sales floors are tidy.Follow all safety protocols and security procedures, especially for high-value items like clubs or tech.Requirements:
1+ years of retail or sales experience. Experience in sports, lifestyle, or apparel is preferred.Interest in golf or familiarity with golf products is required. Ability to discuss golf gear (clubs, apparel, tech), knowledgeably is helpful for upselling and customer support.Customer service skills – friendly, approachable, and confident in engaging with people.Strong communication skills – ability to explain product features and assist a diverse customer base.POS system proficiency – comfortable using digital sales platforms, tablets, or card readers.Team player – works well with others in a fast-paced, temporary retail environment.Punctual and reliable – essential for a short-term role with a fixed schedule.Proactive attitude – takes initiative to help customers or organize the space.Adaptable – able to handle a range of tasks in a dynamic retail environment.Capable of lifting boxes or stock items (up to ~30 lbs or ~15 kg).Must be available for the full 1-month duration of the pop-up, including weekends and some evenings.If you think you’ve got what it takes, please provide your cover letter, CV and expected salary.
