Role Overview

As a User Researcher at Glance, you'll investigate how users interact with lock screen content, understand content consumption patterns, and help shape the future of mobile discovery. Your insights will directly influence how millions of users experience content on their smartphones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct research studies focusing on mobile user behaviour, content consumption patterns, and lock screen interactions
  • Lead user interviews, usability testing, and behavioural analysis to understand how different user segments interact with lock screen content
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to improve content personalization through user insights
  • Work closely with product and design teams to optimize the lock screen experience across different markets and user segments
  • Create and maintain research frameworks for evaluating user engagement with short-form content
  • Present research findings to stakeholders and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Develop user personas and journey maps specific to different geographic markets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in user research, preferably in mobile-first products or content platforms
  • Strong understanding of mobile user behavior and content consumption patterns
  • Experience with research methodologies suitable for mobile platforms
  • Proficiency in research tools like UserTesting, Lookback, or similar
  • Excellence in data synthesis and presentation
  • Strong understanding of global mobile markets and cultural nuances of local geographies.
  • Portfolio demonstrating impact on mobile product development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile content delivery platforms
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts related to content personalization
  • Experience conducting research across multiple global markets
  • Background in short-form content or entertainment platforms
